Implementation of 6% GST For Services, Tours & Destinations

The Malaysian government has announced that on 1st April 2015, implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) of six (6) percent will take effect. This would mean that starting from 1st April 2015, under Malaysian Law, all inbound tour and hotel packages & other services that are consumed in Malaysia are subject to 6% GST.

Traverse Tours Sdn Bhd has registered for GST and we would to inform our valued customers and clients that GST rate will be added onto all our services/ products, tours and destinations, effective 1st April 2015 and onwards, regardless of your tour booking dates.

e.g. if your tour date is in April or onwards, but you have made the booking BEFORE 1st April, we are obliged by law to implement the 6% GST onto your billing.
