The Sepanggar Paddler Camp is a 4-day immersive experience that combines sea kayaking, island exploration, marine conservation, leadership development, and outdoor adventure in one exciting program. Designed for beginners, students, youth groups, corporate teams, and adventure seekers, this camp provides the perfect balance of skill development, teamwork, environmental awareness, and exploration. Set against the stunning backdrop of Mari Mari Dive & Lodge, participants will learn essential paddling skills while discovering Sabah's coastal ecosystems and island environments.

Sea Kayaking Skills - Develop fundamental paddling techniques, kayak handling skills, and efficient boat control for safe and confident coastal kayaking.

Participant Requirements

  • Participants must be at least 15 years old (parental consent required for those under 18)
  • Participants should be able to swim and feel comfortable in open water.
  • Participants should be fit for outdoor and water-based activities.
  • Participants must not have serious medical conditions that may affect safety.
  • Participants must follow all safety instructions and wear a PFD during water activities.
  • Participants are expected to respect the marine environment and participate in conservation activities.

Important Notes

  • No previous kayaking experience is required.
  • Activities and expedition routes may be adjusted based on sea and weather conditions.
  • All activities are supervised by qualified instructors and guides.
  • Personal travel and accident insurance is strongly recommended.
  • A minimum of 4 participants is required.
  • Marine park entrance fees may apply where applicable.
  • Participants must sign an indemnity form before the program begins.
