Kiulu River is a great river for beginners, both elderly and kids may join this trip thus makes it suitable for a family trip.

Trip begins with a safety briefing session conducted by our professional raft guide that will demonstrates rafting techniques and proper handling of rafting equipment before rafting commences. Excursion covers up to 15km, making it the longest white water rafting trip in Borneo, It may covers 7km on medium water level. The journey will take about 1 ½ - 2 hours of rafting before reaching the ending point where delicious barbecue lunch prepared just by the riverbank.

Thinking of going there on your own instead of following our tourists bus? Heres what you need to do:-

1. Be at our meeting place in Kiulu - Traverse Adventure Centre (google maps/waze link here) by 0930hrs, OR at 1200hrs if you plan to go for an afternoon white water rafting.

2. Change to suitable clothing for white water rafting, leave all your personal belongings in your vehicle, secure the vehicle and just bring along the key and pass it to your guide on board the boat. The guide will put it in his/her dry bag and will always be with you in the boat all along the journey till you raft back to the meeting point aka ending point.

3. Prepare RM50 for a 12 seater van transfer or RM30 for a car that can fit up to 4 people that will bring you to the starting point.

4. Retrieve your vehicle after white water rafting. Freshen up at our shower / changing room at the ending point.

Itinerary

0930 HRS

Estimated time of arrival at our ending point at The Adventure Centre(TAC). you may change your attire. Body temperature check, check-in and singing of liability form will be done, kindly follow our staff leads. Afterwards, they will bring you to our starting point using local van "van kampung" RM50 per van (up to 10 pax capacity).

1000 HRS

Rafting commences. Excursions may takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to the ending point.

1200 HRS

Estimate time of arrival at ending point, freshen-up and ready for lunch.

1300 HRS

Estimated time departure from RIVERBUG Adventure Centre.

Participant must be physically fit as this tour is for those who love adventures.

Liability Release Form MUST be signed and understood by the participant before the tour commences.
